As many of you know, our family moved from Woodbury, MN to Naples, FL in 2018. We split time between the two states for a couple years before making the decision to permanently relocate! Anyway, since I  have a large midwest following, some of the most frequently asked questions I get from you are about all things Florida!

Winter is a popular time for people to visit from all over the country, and I  love hearing when you’re in town!

I’m going to try to create some blog posts to help make your trips down here a breeze!

First things first, let’s talk family friendly restaurants in Naples.

I’ll share our favorites, but honestly Naples is such a welcoming community, that truly almost any restaurant you go to, you will feel at ease with kids. I  like to refer to Naples as feeling like a “midwest suburb next to the beach” – because that’s how it feels to me! There is also a HUGE population of midwesterners who have relocated down here permanently or part time, so the vibe is definitely friendly like you’d expect!

Next time you’re in the area, give these a try!

1. The Crust Pizza

More often than not, when it’s time to go out to dinner as a family, pizza is frequently requested! We’re pizza lovers and have tried nearly every pizza place in Naples! There are several good ones, but The Crust Pizza always comes out on top for us!

The pizza is some of the best you’ve ever had, but on top of that, they have the most AMAZING greek salad. It’s my favorite salad on the planet – so fresh and delicious. Oh, and the wine on tap at The Crust is great too! I  usually get a glass of cab or sauvignon blanc.

2. The Boathouse on Naples Bay

We love the Boathouse when we want to eat on the water, and enjoy some great seafood! It’s a charming “supper club feel” family owned restaurant on Naples Bay with gorgeous views! You can sit inside or outside and the service is always amazing. We usually go for dinner but we’ve also tried their Sunday brunch which is delicious too!

3. The Dock at Crayton Cove

The Dock is another family favorite. It’s a casual open air restaurant, but they have plenty of ventilation and fans, so even during the hot summer months it’s enjoyable! They have a really great menu, and their seafood is to die for. I love their margaritas! The coconut shrimp is SO GOOD and the kids love their popcorn shrimp on the kids menu! The Dock is located next to Naples Dock so while you’re waiting for your table or after dinner, it’s fun to walk and check out the fun boats and yachts and enjoy the bay views!

4. Brooks Burgers

Brooks Burgers is a great casual place to grab a great burger or a salad. When my dad is in town, he’s always looking for a good prime rib, and they have that too! There are a few locations around town, but we usually go to the one on Logan Blvd. because the kids love the ice cream shop inside!

5. Oak & Stone

Oak & Stone is a tavern that has something for everyone on the menu. If you have beer lovers in your group, you definitely want to stop by and check out the beer wall. If interested, you opt in for a wrist band, and you scan it every time you go up to the beer wall – it charges you for your ounces consumed at the end! I’m not a beer fan, but they also have some great seltzers on the wall that I usually get. Their pizza and wings is super good, and honestly everything I’ve had there has been fantastic.

6. Seed To Table

Seed To Table really deserves an entire post of it’s own (I’ll put that on my list) but it’s a great place to grab a bite to eat with the fam. In fact, they actually offer free childcare for kids under 10 for an hour and a half. Seed To Table is a 75,000 sq ft. farmers market inspired grocery store, but it also has food in every genre. We’ll go here after kids activities, drop the kids off at the childcare center (our kids are 7, 8, 8, and 10 and still think it’s cool), then we’ll go order their food while they play. The food system works like Panera. You go up to the window you want to order from, they hand you a pager, and you sit down and they bring it to you. They have AMAZING salads, a juice bar, pizza, tacos, sushi, and a fun bar with beer on tap, a wine bar, and a full bar upstairs. This place really is a MUST SEE when you come to Naples!

7. Bone Hook Brewing & Restaurant

Bone Hook is just up the street from us and it’s our favorite sports bar. Their food is great and I love that they have plenty of healthy options on the menu. Again, not a beer person but I    hear their beer is really good. I  love their Cherry Bomb cider!

8. Tacos & Tequila

Tacos & Tequila is a family favorite too! They have a great Mexican menu and their margaritas are my favorite in town! You can order “naked tacos” which is when they turn their famous tacos into a salad if you don’t want the extra carbs! They have a GREAT skinny marg that I  usually get!  The kids also love that they have a treasure box and invite the kids to pick something out before they leave!

9. Hob Nob

One area to be sure to explore while in Naples is 5th Ave. It’s the cutest street and has lots of shops and restaurants. A great family friendly restaurant down there is Hob Nob. It’s a clean and fresh “American” menu with lots of great options, and long with a fun cocktail menu.

10. Osteria Tulia

This is another GREAT place on 5th Ave. Okay I  almost left Tulia off the family friendly list because this is one of our favorite date night spots, but we have taken the kids there and they love it too. It’s the BEST ITALIAN you will find in Naples, in my opinion! Like I’m talking SO good. All the pasta is made in house, and they have the BEST cocktails too. If you like mezcal, try “Smoke & Miracles!”

*Please be sure to make reservations in advance if you can. During season there are often LONG waits at restaurants – NOT what you want to endure with kids lol!

That’s it for now! These are the top 10 that came to mind, but there are SOOOO many more amazing restaurants in Naples! If you are ever in need of a recommendation, don’t hesitate to send me a message on Instagram!

You nailed this! These are truly our favorites too. We haven’t tried The Dock. That will be our next dinner.
