If you asked me five years ago if I’d ever leave the house without my purse I would have thought you were crazy. Then I had kids. And I learned that the diaper bag trumps the purse any day of the week.

When I’m looking for a diaper bag, I want it to be fashionable. I want to feel like I can take it anywhere and it won’t stick out like a sore thumb. When I was asked to review the new line of Boppy Diaper bags, I was excited! Because after having four babies, I’ve been around the block once or twice and know exactly what a bag needs to help a mom out.

When I opened the box and pulled it out, the first thing I noticed was all the organizational features.

It has this awesome clip in the front that allows me to put a coat, a blanket, or even my Boppy pillow through. I LOVE that. I feel like when I’m out with my kids we’re always peeling off layers, and then I’m forced to stuff them IN the diaper bag, which makes it hard to get to anything else.

I also love that it had a pacifier case with a zipper designed specifically for those pacifiers that are always getting lost. I usually find mine at the bottom of the bag covered in goldfish crumbs and then I have to find a faucet to rinse it off. Not any more!

It also comes with a changing pad clutch with extra padding for baby’s head, an easy access wipe dispenser, and an adorable wristlet.

From a functionality standpoint, I love the bottle bags on the sides. They were designed to hold two bottles which is really convenient.

It has a zipper at the top, and my only criticism would be that the zipper can get twisted fairly easily. Not a huge deal, but a bit of a nuisance when you’re trying to get a diaper out quickly.

There are lots of pockets inside. I even have a place for my car keys that I’m always rummaging through my bag for.

Just as important as function, is fashion. I like the design of this bag because it’s gender neutral and low profile. It looks like I’m just carrying another bag.

Overall, my vote is that this would make a great gift for a new mom!

You can find them at Amazon, Babies ‘R Us, and Buy Buy Baby!
