Nutrition has always been a struggle for me. I LOVE working out, but staying on track with my nutrition is HARD! I go in phases. I’m really good for a while and stay on track, then I find unhealthy foods sneaking in again, and it can feel like I’m stuck in a vicious cycle!

What I’ve realized in the last few years is that the core of my problem is emotional eating. When I’d get stressed, I’d turn to food. If the kids were being crazy, I’d run to the pantry and sneak some chocolate (which is why I can’t keep that in my house anymore)! If I was out and about and the kids were whining in the backseat, I’d justify why I totally deserved a carmel frappucino from Starbucks.

And if it wasn’t emotional eating, it was really just a lack of knowing WHAT to eat that is actually healthy! I grew up as a farm girl in Iowa where I was raised on meat and potatoes, and corn was my main vegetable. There were lots of jello salads and snicker salads, but green salads? Not so much. I grew up with the idea that healthy people were required to be super restrictive and missing out on life!

What I know now is that healthy eating is a lifestyle. It isn’t something that has to be restrictive or regimented. You can still live your life the way you want to and ALSO be a healthier version of yourself!

Today, I have the opportunity to start helping people walk through this process with a BRAND NEW nutrition course call the 2B Mindset that is designed to teach sustainability.

The 2B Mindset is a weight loss program and breakthrough new way of eating that will have you feeling full and satisfied instead of hungry and deprived.
