Another week has passed and my girls are still cookin’ away! I had a doctor’s appointment today, and I’m definitely progressing! According to my doc I could go into full fledged labor any minute or stay where I’m at for a couple more weeks and have to be induced. We’ll see what happens!
35 Week Survey
Size of Babies: They weren’t measured this week, but I’m guessing they’re around 5 lbs. now. We’ll get official weights at next week’s ultrasound.
Sleep: Still waking up to pee a lot, and having a hard time finding a comfortable position because one girl is on my left side, and one is on my right. I always feel like I’m squishing one! I’ve resorted to sleeping partial nights in the recliner when needed.
Symptoms: LOTS of Braxton Hicks this week, more cramping, and the heads have significantly dropped, resulting in lots of pressure. I’m in full out waddle mode now!
Total Weight Gain: 23 pounds.
Stretch Marks: None yet!
Cravings: Fruit. Other than that, not much. I’m having a hard time finding foods that sound good the last few days.
Movement: Lots of wiggling around, but since they’ve dropped I haven’t had as many kicks to the ribcage which is nice!
Position: Both head down! Doctor could feel Baby A’s head and said she is ready to come out the chute! This week they were facing each other, with spines facing each of my sides. All the little legs and arms are in the middle of my tummy.
Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks, cramping, pressure, dilation, effacement.
Exercise: 4 times this week, each day consisting of 30 – 35 minutes of cardio on the arc trainer and light weight lifting.
Best Moment This Week: Getting to bring Jake along to the doctor appointment today! After moving to MN it took me a little while to find a doctor I clicked with. He hadn’t met her yet because he’s usually on Baylen duty during appointments since I’m not allowed to bring him. My mom and grandma are here this week so he came along today and we both left really excited about her, and confident that she’ll do a great job with the delivery, assuming it will be scheduled meaning we can choose her as opposed to getting whoever is on call.
Milestones: Supplies purchased for hospital bag…now I need to pack it! I may be a little superstitious about packing it…as if not packing it will keep them in there longer. 😉
That does it! With the way I’m feeling we’ll see if there’s a Week 36 update or not! Thank you all for your prayers – I can’t tell you how much your encouragement helps me!

Whenever the posts are a little later than normal, I wonder if you’re perhaps in labor. One day soon that will be the reason!
Looking good, momma! So excited that the girls could literally come any day! Woohoo! Um, but if you could ask them to stay put until after the Bachelor season finale, that would be great. 😉
Ha! Totally agree that they should stay in there past tomorrow night! Hoping the girlies don’t get between us and Seanie! 😉
You are looking so great! I’m so glad to hear your great report from the Dr! I’m hoping they stay in long enough so you can join us for craft night. 🙂
you look great! what all are you packing? i cant believe I still haven’t packed my bag! it’s like I don’t really think this is happening!!
Thank you! It is so crazy that we’re THIS CLOSE! I think I’m just packing the necessities this time around…last time I totally overpacked. I think I’ll keep it simple with toiletries, comfy clothes, and a couple good books! 🙂
