Friday Favorites: Mother's Day Edition

Happy Friday! I thought it would be fun to start a new series called “Friday Favorites” where every Friday I’ll share fun finds each week that I’m loving!

In honor of Mother’s Day coming up on May 12th, I’m kicking off this series with a few gift ideas. Sometimes when I’m on the spot and someone asks me what I want, I can’t really think of anything, so here you go! Friday Favorites #1: LifePro Infrared Sauna Blanket

First up, I’m loving infrared sauna blanket! This may be one of my favorite self care items to date. If you’re not familiar, an infrared sauna blanket is basically like a mini sauna.

Infrared sauna blankets work by using electromagnetic radiation to stimulate living tissues. This radiation penetrates the skin and heats the body from the inside out, causing the body to sweat and release toxins.

l often use it when we’re winding down for the night, watching a show with the kids. Or even sometimes in the middle of the day while I’m working on my phone. I love that it has the little zipper openings so you can use your hands if you want to! It helps so much with sore muscles and even if you have a muscle injury – I pulled a muscle in my side recently and it was the only thing that gave me relief.

Friday Favorites #2: Hotel Collection Diffuser

Okay you know when you walk into a resort or hotel and it smells AMAZING?! You can have that same scent in your house! A few months ago, after a friend recommended the Hotel Collection Diffuser to me because she was obsessed, I was influenced. Her house smelled SO GOOD. It was my birthday present to myself back in February and I LOVE IT. The way that it works is that it’s a diffuser that you can either plug in or use wirelessly. You buy little essential oil pods to put inside and then you don’t have to TOUCH IT for a whole month outside of charging it if you use the wireless option. I just leave mine plugged in most of the time by the front door so that it smells good when we walk in the door! You can order refills monthly – it’s so easy! Friday Favorites #3: BOGG BAG

I’ve been eyeing these BOGG Bags for a while, and with summer around the corner, I finally pulled the trigger. I love that it’s durable, washable, and tip proof. It also has built in plastic bags, so when we’re at the beach I can put my phone, keys, and other personal items without fear they will get all sandy! I think it will also come in handy for sporting events and other get togethers when I need a big bag to bring all our many things to!

Okay this is a REALLY splurgy thing and it took me a bit to convince myself to treat myself to it, but YOU GUYS. Friday Favorites #6: Athleta Leggings & Workout Tank with Built In Bra

Right now, the ENTIRE Athleta website is on sale for 25% off for Mother’s Day! My girls and I walked in there the other day, and we spent some time trying on leggings. I’ve been in the market for a new pair and have always wanted to try their leggings but it wasn’t until Saturday that I took the time to try them on. I asked the associate what their most popular leggings are, and she asked if I like pockets or no pockets. I’m more of a no pocket girl, so she recommended the Elation Ultra High Rise 7/8 Tight. So glad I tried these on because they are SO comfy and offer some support but not too much to where you feel like you’re uncomfortable. I paired them with the Conscious Crop Bra and LOVE that too!

Friday Favorites #7: Crop Wide Leg Jeans

I found these jeans at Evereve about a month ago and find myself wearing them every chance I get. I was actually wearing them too much according to my girls! Haha! They were like, “Uhh mom? I know you like those jeans but I think you need to give them a break!” 😆

They were another splurgy item but WELL worth it considering I haven’t bought new jeans in way too long. As I get older, I’m finding I want more quality that quantity when it comes to clothes. I got rid of so many clothes in my closet recently and it felt amazing so I’m kind of considering this season my fresh start to find things that I’m actually excited about wearing again!

Friday Favorites #8: Rattan Chandelier

We are in the midst of remodeling our house, and I had to share a light from Wayfair we found that I absolutely LOVE. We put these in our upstairs hallway and they really warmed up the whole space!
