In case you’re new around here, in addition to being a mom of four and blogger, I’m an online fitness coach for busy mommas! Six years ago I started a Beachbody program when I was trying to get back to feeling my best after having babies, and fell in love with the way they produced workout programs that I could do from home. Over the last few years the workout platform has evolved, and now I stream them all either on my TV, computer, or phone! Most of the time I workout at home, but I love that I can take my workouts with me wherever I go. It has helped me become so much more consistent! PLUS, I’m in a community every day with other busy women and it’s so inspiring to me when I see them putting in the work. It helps me get over my excuses.
I ended up loving the programs so much, that I decided to become a coach so I could pay it forward and encourage other women like my coach had encouraged me! I love that it’s an affordable option for anyone, regardless of where you live in the country. It’s been such a blast and our team has become a top team in the entire company!
As a Beachbody Coach, I’m partnered with the company as a contractor, so I have my own website where I get to connect women with the workout programs and supplements that are the best fit for them. They order their challenge package through me, and I run my own “online gym.” My online gym consists of a private Facebook group AND a private app that I add my customers to. I’m in there every day posting daily encouragement and creating fun challenges that they can plug into for accountability! For me and so many others, the missing link and the reason we struggle so much to make change is because we try to do it on our own! Being in an online community with other women who cheer you on is the best feeling.
A few times a year, Beachbody launches NEW fitness programs, and as a coach I get to run a “test group” and bring the very first group of customers through it during the VIP launch! My test group for 645 starts on Monday, July 19th!
Right now, we are launching our newest program on Beachbody On Demand, called 645!
If you aren’t familiar with Beachbody On Demand, it’s basically Netflix for workouts. You get access to an app that has world class fitness programs created by the most popular personal trainers in the industry. You will get access to the new program highlighted here, as well as all the other programs Beachbody has ever created (P90X, Insanity, 21 Day Fix, 80 Day Obsession, LIIFT4, etc). You can press play on your workouts from your TV, computer, tablet, or phone, and all you need is a wifi connection to press play. (Or if you’ll be on vacation you can download workouts ahead of time if you’re worried about connection speeds!)
What is 645?
This program is 6 days a week, for 45 minutes a day, hence the name!
The trainer who created this program is Amoila Cesar. He’s famous for getting celebrities and professional athletes in nearly perfect shape. His motivational, inclusive style makes you feel like you’re training with him in his gym, along with his crew. He’ll motivate you the same way he does some of the world’s best athletes to get your best workout, every day.
645 combines strength training, cardio, and mobility work using functional, powerful moves that will target your entire body.
645 is 78 workouts broken into 4 stages! The first three are 4 weeks each, while the last one is week 13. This program is for all fitness levels. If you ever find a workout too challenging, you can follow the modifications as you build up your fitness level.
What are the workouts in 645?
Each week features:
- 4 full-body strength workouts, switching from heavier weights with low reps to lighter weights with higher reps.
- 1 mobility workout with an emphasis on efficient activation, stretching, and movement.
- 1 cardio workout that will build multidirectional speed and agility to get your heart pumping and calories burning.
- Sunday is YOUR DAY. Use it to meal prep, relax, and reframe your mind for the week ahead.
What equipment do you need for 645?
Power Loops are the next generation of resistance bands, offering a wider design and grippier texture that helps them stay in place even during the most active moves. These fabric loops are so much better than the rubber ones! There are two Power Loops – grey for lighter resistance and black for heavier resistance. Power Loops are included in your challenge pack! You’ll also need light, medium, and heavy dumbbells. I also recommend a mat for floor work, and a foam roller.
How does nutrition fit into 645?
What you eat matters just as much as the fitness programs you’ve chosen. That’s why we offer two comprehensive and proven nutrition programs, 2B Mindset and Portion Fix. These aren’t crash diets. They’re lifelong approaches designed to show you how to eat delicious, nourishing foods in the right amounts, and overcome emotional and mindless eating. No off-limit foods. No hunger. No guilt. Both of these programs are included in your test group package, and we’ll chat during prep week to see which one is the best fit for your personality!
Do you recommend the Beachbody supplements, like Shakeology, Energize, & Recover?
Short Answer: YES. Plus they are included for free with your month in the challenge pack so you can sample them for 30 days to see how they make you feel! If you want to continue using them, awesome! If not, that’s cool too. Regardless, you have access to my online gym for as long as you have a Beachbody On Demand membership with me listed as your coach!
Longer Answer: I swore I wouldn’t EVER be a supplement girl. I thought they were only for the “really serious” bodybuilders which I was not! I was, however, a busy mom who always felt like I needed more energy and convenient meal ideas! I thought eating foods from the grocery store was fine as-is, but here’s what happened when I added extra nutrients from supplements into my daily routine:
