We threw Baylen a little birthday party yesterday, and it was incredibly humbling to see family and friends come together to love on our little guy. It made my heart happy to have a day where he was the main focus. Since Emersyn and Mckinley were born he’s done a great job sharing the spotlight, but at times I wish I could give him more attention. It’s a blessing to have people who have stepped in along the way and have intentionally spent time with him, taking him for a few hours here and there, or taking the girls so we have time to make him feel special. And then yesterday for everybody to come together just for him was amazing.
It was a great day and it made me excited to think to the future knowing that Baylen will have amazing people pouring into him to help him become the man God has created him to be.
Thank you, Lord, for giving us two years with Baylen! We praise you for the ways you uniquely created him. Thank you for the opportunity to celebrate him this weekend. Thank you for the generosity from family and friends who love him and us so much. Thank you for the ways they support us and point us to draw close to YOU!
