Cream Cheese PieOn a hot day like the one we’re having in Minnesota, I can’t think of much that sounds better than ice cream, or this ice cream type pie. The pie recipe comes from Jake’s mom, and is one of our very favorites. I’m a sucker for my oatmeal chocolate chip cookie dough, so I added that, although you could add whatever mixings sound best to you!

Cookie Dough Cream Cheese Pie

Ingredients:

-1  8oz. package cream cheese, softened

-1/3 cup sugar

-1/2 cup sour cream

-1 teaspoon vanilla

-4 oz. light cool whip

-1 store bought graham cracker crust

-cookie dough balls, frozen

Directions: Beat cream cheese until smooth, then gradually beat in sugar. Blend in sour cream and vanilla, then fold in the cool whip and frozen cookie dough balls. Spoon into crust. Freeze for 4 hours before serving.

Well, I’m gonna have to cut it short today, because the little man decided to get up from his nap a bit early. He happens to love this pie too, so I think we’ll head out to the front porch and split a piece before the girls wake up!

I hope you enjoy something cold and refreshing with your loved ones today too!
