I Want(ed) Proof

We usually put our kids to bed between 7 – 7:30pm. This means most of our nights are spent at home, and usually include watching some TV. One of our favorite shows is Shark Tank that airs Friday nights on ABC.  If you aren’t familiar, it features a panel of potential investors, known as “sharks” who consider offers from aspiring entreprenuers seeking investments for their business or product.

A while back they featured Proof Eyewear, and Jake and I were immediately interested in their wooden eyeglasses and sunglasses. All of the wood used is sustainably sourced and they have fun and unique designs and colors. Additionally, a large portion of each sale goes to a charity in India that provides sight-giving cataract surgeries to those in need!

Jake’s been needing new eyeglasses, so he chose a pair that he’ll be able to put a prescription in. We liked his so much that we decided to order a pair of sunglasses for me too! They’re a bit of an investment, but since I’m in an awkward stage of post pregnancy and don’t want to invest in new clothes quite yet, sunglasses served as the perfect postpartum pick-me-up! To top it off, we’ve been super impressed with their customer service. Each pair arrived only two days after we placed our orders! Another great perk about the glasses is that they’re unisex, so until Jake gets those prescriptions in, I can steal his from time to time!If you’re in the market for a fun pair of glasses to welcome in sunshine and warmer weather, the Kuiper house would highly recommend Proof!
