Now that we’re done having babies, every stage I’m in with Case causes me to get a little sentimental. Even though he’s still little and there is still so much to experience with him, there are a lot of important milestones we’re experiencing together that I’ll never get to do again. The last few months have been filled with him learning to crawl, pull himself up, pushing his walker around, and trying out all kinds of new foods.

I love time with him when he’s in his high chair because it’s intentional time together. My older kids don’t need me as much to eat anymore, so I grab a spoon, a chair, and Case’s favorite foods, and we have a little one on one date.

He has quite a few teeth and is able to eat some table foods, but he still prefers purees and soft foods for the most part. I like to think it’s because he likes Mommy to feed him. 🙂

The Gerber 3rd Foods have been a really great solution for the stage he’s in. They are specifically made to have soft bits of fruits and veggies to help little ones transition from baby foods to solids. The first time Case had it he wasn’t quite sure what to think of the texture! It was surprising for his little mouth. Now he gobbles it up. We’ve tried both the Apple Blueberry and the Sweet Potato Apple Carrot & Cinnamon flavors, and he likes them both, although the Apple Blueberry might hold the sweetest spot in his heart.

As much as I’d like to keep Case a baby forever, I’m thankful I have these awesome products to make the transition from baby to big boy as smooth as possible!

Lil’ Bits recipes come in 7 fruits and 3 veggies. Fruits are: Apple Blueberry, Orchard Fruit Medley, Apple Banana, Banana Apple Strawberry, Pear Apple Berry, Island Fruit Blend and Banana Apple Mango. Veggies are: Mixed Carrots, Corn & Butternut Squash, Butternut Squash & Potato, Sweet Potato Apple Carrots & Cinnamon.

Baby Ezra is just about to start solids. Excited to enjoy this milestone with our baby number two. It was so fun with his big sister to try out new foods!

I love that you are soaking up the moments with your little Case. It can be hard to really be in the moment when there are older siblings also vying for attention. My youngest faces back at me in our double stroller and I absolutely love it. I considerate it our “one on one date” when we are strolling and I can steal smiles from him and just stare at him:-) The small moments with my youngest are so special!
