Baylen’s been working on those pesky two year molars lately, and after a trip to the doctor today, it was confirmed that he also has a pretty raw throat. Poor little man. So tonight I made him a Strawberry Orange Julius to help his little throat feel better and soothe his sore gums.
The past few days have been crabby and not so fun, so I was to see excited to see his normal happy personality come out while he sipped, and then chugged, this delicious treat. It’s amazing how all those tough mommy moments are soon forgotten when we see joy on our childrens’ faces.
If you want to make someone you love smile, I’d strongly suggest this blended goodness. It makes enough for you to enjoy one too!
Strawberry Orange Julius
Ingredients: 2 cups frozen strawberries, 1 cup orange juice, 1/4 cup milk, 1 6oz. container greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions: Place ingredients in blender until well blended. Makes two 8 oz. servings.
Happy slurping!
