Tulip Festival 2014

Hello everyone. It’s been ages since I last published a post! Next time I decide to have a flash headband sale followed by a garage sale the next week someone please remind me I’m nuts! I think I’m finally all caught up and ready to get back to my ordinary routine which hopefully means more posts coming your way.

Today I thought I’d do a little photo dump.

We went back to where I grew up in Northwest Iowa this past weekend to celebrate Tulip Festival! I posted a few of these to Instagram, but here are a few more.

We visited my Grandma Jody the first day we were there. It’s always such a treat to be around her sweet presence!

The kids love spending time on my parents’ farm. We were outside most of the time. It was wonderful! On Saturday we watched the dutch dancing and the parade before everyone had enough and was ready to crash.   I also got to my my lifelong friend’s sweet newborn, Olivia Grace. She is such a sweetie pie! It made me excited to be able to experience the newborn stage one more time.  And since it’s been a while, here are a few other random pictures of happenings around here lately. Last week we had a playdate with a few friends! Crista and I have the same set up as far as kids go, with twin girls and a toddler boy. It’s so fun to get them together, and I can’t wait to watch them grow up together! I mentioned before the I’m all finished up with the last flash headband sale I had, so I’m gearing up for another one in the near future. This time I’ll be making them all in advance and simply saying what sizes I have available in the specific patterns. If you missed out on one that you wanted last time, please let me know what size you’re looking for so I can have some available for you! These neon head wraps will be available again at the next sale! If you don’t already follow my shop, you can do so here. I had to post this one to show and remember what HUGE milk fans Emersyn and Mckinley are. They are completely done with bottles now and love chugging the milk from their sippys – we go through about four or five gallons of milk a week as a family right now! That’s all for random pictures for now! I’m hoping to the back in the next day or so to post a little more from my heart about what’s been going on lately!
